The Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test is conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) for admission to various courses at GGSIPU and it’s affiliated institutes. The admissions to the programmes of studies in the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) are primarily through common entrance tests (CET) conducted by the University or on merit of the qualifying degrees.
From the academic session 2019-20, the CET entrance examination has been discontinued for many programmes. It will be replaced by National Level Exams. Admissions to B.Tech. courses at GGSIPU and it’s affiliated institutes will be done through JEE Main Paper-1 though candidates need to separately apply for GGSIPU Admisisons.
Further, NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) remains necessary for admission to MBBS, BDS, BHMS & BAMS programmes. Also, for BArch course, candidates will have to possess a valid NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) score. After July 31, JEE Main Paper 2 scores will be used for any vacant seat after exhausting the NATA merit list for admission.
